Weight limit 250 lbs (this is higher than most companies because our trucks lift the cart)
Please be careful not to exceed that limit as the arm on the truck has a difficult time turning
the cart upside-down once this weight limit is exceeded
Arrows on top of container must point toward street
Container must be within 4 feet of curb by 6 a.m.
Because we have automated trucks, please do not have any objects within 3 feet of container (examples: other containers, vehicles, fences, mailboxes, avoid placing container under low hanging tree branches or objects).
No hot ashes in containers (ashes must be cold and sealed in bags).
For a minimal fee, bulky wastes such as major appliances, furniture, etc. can be picked up curbside. See Rates section for bulky waste price list.
No toxic materials (examples: car batteries, anitfreeze, motor oil, etc.). For disposal options, call The M.E.T. at 584.0584.
Latex paint must be dried before disposal.
If you put brush in your cart, please make sure that it does not stick up out of the cart
anymore than 3 feet. You can bundle your brush (2'X4') and set beside cart if this works better for you. (Limit 6 per day, please)
96 gallon/two-wheel carts are furnished to all of our customers free of charge. This cart is property of Kannady Industries, Inc. You are liable for a $60.00 replacement fee if this cart is lost, damaged, or stolen. These carts are a large expense for our company, so please use with respect.
